Climate:

The main types of climate in Argentina are four: warm, moderate, arid and cold. artic regions in the south, to the forested jungle regions in the north, from the ocean coastline on the Atlantic, to the rugged mountain regions in the west, and bordering five other countries, Argentina provides an important cultural and economic connection for all of South America. We prefer going to places like Buenos Aires in fall (Mar-May) and spring (Sept-Nov), when temperatures are mild and the temperatures aren’t too hot or too cold. If you are traveling to Patagonia and the southern Andes go in the summer, when days are longer and warmer. If you’d like to visit the northwest, Winter (June-Aug) is the best time because rains and heat have subsided; but spring (Aug-Oct) is also pleasant, as temperatures are mild and the crowds have cleared out.

January and February very hot -- often in the high 90s to more than 100°F (35°C-40°C) -- while winter (approximately July-Oct) can be chilly.

The electricity in Argentina is 220 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to Argentina with a device that does not accept 220 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter. Plugs have prongs that are v-shaped, flat prongs therefore, an adapter plug is needed.
